Hendrey has loved animals for as long as he can remember and grew up raising rescue dogs from a local animal shelter, which says a lot about the kind of care he brings: patient, compassionate, hands-on, and full of heart. He truly loves all animals to bits, and treats every pet with warmth, kindness, and proper attention.

His love of travel and exploring different corners of Cape Town and Stellenbosch makes live-in sitting a natural fit. He enjoys settling into new spaces, caring for pets in their own familiar environment, and making sure both home and animals feel happy, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away.

He works full-time remotely as a User Experience Designer, which gives him very flexible hours for those lovely morning, lunchtime, or afternoon walks and play sessions.

And one of Hendrey’s standout touches? He takes real pride in leaving homes spring-cleaned after his stay, so you can come back not only to content pets, but to a home that feels refreshed, tidy, and well looked after too.
