If you’re heading out of town and want your home lived in, not just “checked on”, my live-in service is for you.

I move in for the duration of your trip, keeping your home secure and your pets in their normal routine – same bowls, same couch, same cosy bedtime chaos. I’m a non-smoker, neat, and naturally low-drama, so you come home to a calm space, happy animals and no surprises.

What’s included:

  • Overnight stays, every night – your home is occupied, not standing empty.
  • Full pet care – feeding, walks, playtime, meds (as directed) and plenty of affection.
  • House care basics – bins out, post in, lights/curtains rotated, doors and gates checked.
  • Plants & garden – watering and light garden care as needed.
  • Regular updates – photos and quick check-ins so you never have to wonder how things are going.

  • Longer trips where you want a consistent presence at home.
  • Older or special-needs pets who do best in their own environment.
  • Busy humans who just want to book once and know it’s all handled.

Bookings and Payment - how it works

1. Pick your sitter
Their calendar shows live availability for your dates.
2. Pay to reserve
You pay the full amount at checkout. This secures the sitter’s time and notifies them immediately.
3. Meet-and-Greet within 24 hours
Your sitter will contact you within a day to set up a quick meet and greet, in person or by video, to confirm fit and walk through instructions.
4. Confirm or request a change
If everyone’s happy, we mark the booking confirmed. If it isn’t a match, you can request a different sitter or a full refund.
Need to request a change? Open My Account → Your booking → Request a change, or email info@housepawty.co.za with your order number. We’ll rematch you fast.
