If your dogs are basically family (with more fur and fewer dishes to wash), my live-in service is designed for you.

I move into your home for the duration of your trip so your dogs stay in their own space, on their own schedule, with one calm, consistent human looking after everything. Same couch, same garden, same walk routes – just with me standing in as “temporary dog dad”.

Years of caring for my own dogs, especially my Border Collie Abigail (who made it to a wise old 16), taught me how much routine, structure and calm energy matter. Abi was a university in a fur coat: sharp, demanding and brilliant. Between her, formal training, and more dog-behaviour videos than I’d comfortably admit to, I’ve learned how to keep dogs relaxed, stimulated and secure while their humans are away.

What’s included:

• Overnight stays, every night – your home is occupied, not standing empty, and your dogs are never left to fend for themselves.
• Full dog care – feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, brain games and proper down-time (not just winding them up and leaving).
• Training-friendly routine – I follow your rules and reinforce the habits you’ve already worked hard on: lead manners, doorways, boundaries, place training, etc.
• Multi-dog & senior care – comfortable handling multiple dogs at once, from high-energy youngsters to seniors who need a slower pace, meds or extra patience.
• Home care basics – alarms, gates, bins, post, lights, curtains, plants – all the little things that keep a home feeling lived in and secure.
• Regular updates – honest check-ins with photos and short reports so you always know how everyone is doing (the good, the funny, and the muddy).
