Chasidy - Live-in House & Pet Care

If your pets are happiest when someone is actually around – not just popping in – my live-in service is made for them.

I’m Chasidy, a bubbly homebody and Human Resource Management student at UCT. In res I’ve been the corridor coordinator / mentor – the person who keeps things calm, organised and running smoothly behind the scenes. I’ve also worked as an au pair, juggling school runs, homework and hungry kids, so following routines and being responsible for other people’s “babies” is very familiar territory.

With live-in care, I move into your home for the duration of your trip and become your pets’ stand-in human: same couch, same food bowls, same walk routes and bedtime rituals – just with me dishing out the cuddles. Because I genuinely enjoy being at home, your pets get real companionship, not just a rushed visit.

What’s included:

• Overnight stays, every night – your home is occupied and feels lived-in and secure.
• Full pet care – feeding, fresh water, walks, litter trays/yard breaks, playtime and lots of affection.
• Comfortable, calm company – great for pets who are used to someone being around most of the time.
• Routines followed properly – I stick closely to your instructions on feeding, meds and house rules.
• Home care basics – lights and curtains, bins out, post and parcels in, basic plant care, general tidiness.
• Regular updates – photos and check-ins so you never have to wonder how things are going.
